You answer a few questions and take ten photos. Within 48 to 72 hours you have a detailed report, reviewed by an expert. Every four months, a new one shows what changed.
Questions and photos
First, a short questionnaire about your skin, your routine, your goals and what you'd like to keep as it is. Then ten photos with your phone, at home: your face from the front, from each side and turned halfway, and four expressions. We check each photo before it's sent.

An expert reviews it
We measure every region of your face and draft your report. Then an ilay expert reviews it, edits what needs editing and approves it. You can follow each stage in your account.

Every four months
At months four and eight you take the same photos again. Your new report compares them with the ones before, shows what worked and plans the next four months. In month twelve, a full analysis compares the whole year, and the ring closes.

Questions about the reports
What do I need for the photos?
A phone, daylight, a plain wall and a white sheet of paper. You take ten photos with your hair away from your face: from the front, from each side and turned halfway each way, one with the paper beside your face, and four expressions. We guide you through each one.
What does the report cover?
Eight regions of your face: brows, eyes, nose, cheeks, lips, jaw, chin and skin. For each one, what we measured, what it means and your plan, with a simulation of what the plan can change. Colour analysis is included too. See the analysis for the full picture.
How long does it take?
Your report is ready within 48 to 72 hours of your photos, or within 24 to 48 hours with express delivery. You can follow each stage in your account.
Can I ask for a change?
Yes. Once per report you can ask for a change to your simulation, for example to keep your freckles or to look more natural. An expert reviews the new version, and it reaches you in the same time as a report: within 48 to 72 hours, or 24 to 48 hours with express delivery. A request we can't do, such as one that would need surgery, doesn't use up your change.
Why a report every four months?
Four months is long enough for skin and habits to change in a way a photo can show. Each new report compares your new photos with the earlier ones, so you can see what worked.
What if I miss a report?
Each report has its own window, and we remind you when it opens, halfway through and a week before it closes. A report you don't use doesn't carry over to the next one.
What happens in month twelve?
Two weeks before your year ends, your last report opens: new photos and a full analysis that compares the whole year. You see it before your renewal date. If you renew, it is also the first report of your next year.
